Bootstrap Introduction

Bootstrap is an open-source front-end web framework which is used to design responsive websites and web applications. It is toolkit that works with front end technologies like: HTML, CSS, JS and JQuery.


Bootstrap was developed by Mark Otto and Jacob Thornton at Twitter in August 2011 on GitHub. It was written in HTML, CSS, LESS, SASS, and JavaScript.

The stable version of bootstrap is 3.3.7, and released on 25 July 2016.
