Difference Between Magento 2 and Magento 1
Magento 1 has changed the way developers and store owners treated an e-commerce site. Now it is approaching toward the end of its life, while Magento 2 has more benefits than Magento 1. Magento 2 provides page load speeds faster than the Magento 1. The homepage, product page, and category pages take less than 1.5 seconds to get loaded with full stuff.
So the performance of Magento 2 is much better than Magento 1. In contrast to the results between the Magento 2 and Magento 1, Magneto 2 provides page load speeds 50 percent faster than the Magento 1.
With the introduction of the latest simplified checkout option, the guest user can check out from the store without any registration. Magento 2 recognizes the registered customers automatically via their e-mail addresses. Magento 2’s checkout speeds it 38% more than the older version.
There are many tools and plugins available for Magento 1, but it takes a lot of time to get updated even by professional developers. However, the main problem was the disputes overextensions as two or more extensions seek to rewrite the same features. Later the issue was fixed manually, but it cost a lot of money, time, and full effort.
In Magento 2, on the other hand, plugins allow code to overlap the core code, rather than replacing it.
