PHP strrchr() Function

The strrchr() function in PHP finds the last occurrence of a character in the specified string and returns the portion of haystack, which starts at the last occurrence of the needle and goes until the end of haystack.

This is a case-insensitive function.

Syntax

strrchr ( string $haystack , mixed $needle ) 

Parameter

haystack(required)- This parameter represents the input string.

needle(required)- This parameter signifies the string to search for. If the needle contains more than one character, only the first is used.

Return

This function returns the portion of the string, or FALSE if the needle is not found.
