Raspberry Pi
Raspberry Pi is a mini computer that fits in the palm of a hand with a price tag as low as five dollars, the idea was born in 2006, and the first commercial unit was launched in 2012; since then, it's evolved into the best selling computers in the world. It's named raspberry because computer companies like to name themselves after fruit and pie for the python programming language. Not only is the computer tiny, but it can also be quite powerful. They are great for building your own IoT prototypes, robots, security cameras, web servers and many others. It provides a general purpose Input/Output (GPIO) connector for connecting and managing other electrical devices; it also helps us to discover the world of the Internet of things (IOT).
Beaglebone Black
Beaglebone Black, also known as BBB, is open hardware, open-source development board mainly used by professional developers. Though it is similar to Raspberry pi, it provides some additional features. It was developed by a non-profit organisation called beagleboard.org. The Beaglebone Black comes with a 2GB or 4GB eMMC flash memory chip and Debian, which is a Linux-based operating system pre-installed. Also, you can install your favourite operating system like Angstrom, Android, Ubuntu and more.
