It has a big name in one of the private engineering colleges in Coimbatore. It was started in 1984 as a good direction for the Ramalinga Adigalar Foundation.

It is run by the Sakthi Group, a charitable, educational organization. The founder or chairman of the Sakti group was Dr. N Mahalingam.

P. Baby Shakila is the complete and eligible person who has become the principal of the college. This college is certified by ISO.

The campus is built on 15 acres. SKASC gives 24 * 7 learning facilities for the students and staff. It is an autonomous college. 3. SNS College of Technology.

It is one of the best private colleges in Coimbatore. This college was founded in 2002 as a part of the SNS Groups. SNS College is accepted by AICTE and got affiliated with Anna University, Coimbatore. It is an autonomous College. Dr. SN Subramanian is the chairman, and Dr. Chenthur Pandian is the principal of the college.

The motto of the college is Sincerity, Nobility, and service. Sri. SNS Charitable Trust has a big contribution to this college as a trusty. 4. PSG College of Arts and science

It is the first autonomous college in Tamil Nadu. This college is basically for arts and Science Students. The PSG and Sons Charities founded this college in 1947. PSG got affiliated with Madras University in 1978, but after becoming autonomous, this college is affiliated with Bharathiar University. This college ranked 19 according to  NIRF in 2021.

PSG college offers 43 undergraduate courses, 27 postgraduate courses, 3 PG Diploma, Ph.D., M. Phil, and five-year integrated postgraduate courses.

5. Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology. 

It is considered an autonomous college of engineering. It is located in Suguna Puram, Palakkad, on Coimbatore national Highway.

The distance between the city and the college is almost 8 km. In 1998, when the college started, there were only 180 students and 18 staff, but today it has more than 2500 students, more than 200 faculty Staff, and lots of supporting staff.

SKCET offers four courses for the bachelor of engineering. SKCET is affiliated with Anna University. It provides facilities with smart classrooms, a modern library, and computer labs. In this college, hostel facilities are available for the students.

6. Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College

It is a famous private autonomous Engineering College in Coimbatore, India. It was founded by Dr. R. Venkatesalu in 1994. It is affiliated with Anna University in Chennai and got approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education of New Delhi.

Dr. NR. Alamelu is the college principal. The motto of this college is "Enlightenment through Education".

It provides many courses for undergraduate and postgraduate in Engineering.

This college is situated on 45 acres. It ranked 142 among Engineering Colleges in 2020 by NIRF.

7. Government College of Engineering.

It is a private autonomous engineering college, which is located in Coimbatore, India. It is affiliated with Anna University. It was founded in 1945 as Arthur Hope College of technology which was renamed Arthur Hope by G.D Naidu after some time.

In 1951, the college was renamed as Government College of Technology. It offers nine undergraduate, eleven postgraduate, and four part-time undergraduate courses.

It gives so many facilities for the students like a club, 24 hours open library, wi-fi, and food court. It has a hostel for men and women with 1500 Students Capacity.

8. Rathinam College of Arts and Science

It is a co-educational College. This college was established in 2001 by Rathinam Arumugam Research and Education Foundation.

It is located on Pollachi main road, Coimbatore.

Dr. Madan Asendhil is the founder and chairman of the college. He is an NRI and completed his postgraduate degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida.

In 2002, the management started a software park on the college campus. Rathinam Software Park operates with 14 national and multinational IT companies.

When this college started, there were only 136 Students, but now 2700 students are admitted per year. In this college, only 118 students can pursue their UG, PG, and Research degree in four undergraduate courses Commerce, Computer Science, Corporate, and HICAS.

It is considered a government autonomous engineering College located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. In 1956, it was founded by V. Ranga Swamy Naidu Educational Trust, and it got affiliated with Anna University.

It offers nine undergraduate degrees and 12 Postgraduate degrees. It also started programs for both MS and Ph.D. It has provided eight Engineering programs for Students.
