Excel MOD() Function

The MOD() function in excel returns the remainder after a number is divided by a divisor

Syntax

MOD(number, divisor)

Parameter

Number(required)- This parameter represents the number which you want to divide.

Divisor(required)- This parameter represents the number to divide with.

Example 1

Objective: Use MOD function on the following examples

Example 2

Objective: Extract time from date & time stamp given in cell
