IFS (Indian Foreign Services)

The abbreviation of IFS is the Indian Foreign Service. Throughout the Indian Government and administrative system, it would be as respectable as the (IAS). IFS Background History

IFS Requirement of Enrollment:

1. Citizenship: An applicant must be either:

(a) A resident of India or a resident of India

(b) The resident of Nepal or Bhutan.

Age restriction for IFS is between 21 years and 32 years (Applicants corresponding to the SC/ST class have three years for applicants in the OBC class will be granted a relaxed age of 5 years).

(c) Three years in the case of security service members injured in hostilities with any different nation or troubled region during activities.

(d) Five years Comfortable age capable of ex-service people, like ECOs/SSCOs who have served an original 5-year military service contract.

UPSC IFS Qualification: The applicant must require a Bachelor's degree from at most several of the topics, including Animal Husbandry & Veterinarian Medicine, Zoology, Science, Math, and Zoology, or even a Bachelor's degree from any of the colleges integrated into Industry by the Law of the Federal or State Parliament.

Total number of Opportunities for UPSC IFS: Each applicant who has already qualified for the test has six opportunities at the exam. Physical Requirements: The applicant must be physically active for entry to the Indian Foreign Service Review in compliance with performance requirements.

What type of Indian Foreign Service (IFS) program?

An applicant chosen by a Civil Services review in the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) is subject to a rigorous training course. This program encourages an applicant with a detailed understanding of professional attributes and communication ability. The probation officers undergo their learning at the LBSNAA. Then they enter the Academy of Foreign Service in New Delhi, where they concentrated on studying in the different fields that a professional ambassador requires to become acquainted with. The curriculum requires seminars, interactions with other parts of the Government, and getting used to touring both throughout the country and internationally. Enrollment and Preference
