25th April 1987 was one of the luckiest and most blessed dates for the Bollywood industry as Arijit stepped into this world. He was born in Jiaganj, Murshidabad, West Bengal. Since childhood, he was so passionate about music that he started his music training at 3, which is very difficult to believe that many children struggle to speak properly at this stage. Many singing reality shows has been offered to him but denied to do the same. However, he appeared on the comedy show The Kapil Sharma show in 2016. His wittiness and sense of humour were great on the show. The audience got to know more about him. He wisely handles social media as there is so much negativity around, so he doesn't get involved much in the context.

He is very keen on helping needy people. He runs NGO called "Let There Be Light". This NGO helps poor people with food, stay, daily life needs, and children's education. It is a great example of humanity. NGOs have many goals to achieve in favour of poor people. There are many activities held in NGOs like blood bank camps, clothes distribution, Food distribution, event photography, etc. all such activities play a very important role in humanity. Poverty Line children on a huge scale and seasonal human ground activities.
