Shaheer Sheikh

Indian actor and model Shaheer Nawaz Sheikh (born March 26, 1984) primarily appears on Hindi television. On the T.V. show Kya Mast Hai Life in 2009, he made his acting debut as Veer Mehra. In Navya.Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal, he subsequently played Anant Bajpai. He made a big splash in 2013 when he won global acclaim for the role of Arjuna in the Mahabharat.

He took a sabbatical from Indian television in 2015 to debut on Indonesian television with Cinta di Langit Taj Mahal and to host several other series. Turis Romantis and Maipa Deapati & Datu Museng are two Indonesian movies in which he had an appearance. He is considered the "Srk of Indonesia" due to his enormous popularity throughout the country.

Sheikh has made a name for himself as one of India's most favored television stars. Shaheer returned to Indian television in 2016 with the critically praised series Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, portraying Dev Dixit, and Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali, in which he played Salim. In the 2019 season of the well-known series Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, he plays Abir Rajvansh.

With Paurashpur, Sheikh made his online debut in 2020. He also played Manav Deshmukh in Pavitra Rishta- It's Never Too Late web series. Along with T.V. shows, he has been in numerous music videos. Sheikh has been playing Krishna Choudhary in Woh Toh Hai Albelaa since 2022.

Young life

Shahnawaz Sheikh and Dilshad Sheikh welcomed Sheikh into the world on March 26, 1984, in Bhaderwah, Doda, Jammu & Kashmir. Aleefa and Ifrah is his sisters. At Hari Singh Higher Secondary School in Jammu, he completed his education. His Bachelor of Laws degree was awarded by New Law College at Bharati Vidyapeeth University in Pune.

Early Career and Debut (2009–2012)

He began working for a law firm after earning his L.L.B., then began his career as a photographer. He then moved on to modeling. In the 2009 television series Kya Mast Hai Life, Sheikh made his acting debut as Veer Mehra, a young man who enjoys playing the guitar and listening to music. Sheikh replaced Satyajeet Dubey in Jhansi Ki Rani as Nana Sahib, the brother of the Rani of Jhansi, as the program's second season concluded.

In 2011, Sheikh co-starred with Saumya Seth in the television project Navya.Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal. He portrayed Anant Bajpai, a 19-year-old college student who may have an urban appearance but is a traditionalist and a conformist. In season 1 of the Disney Channel sitcom Best Of Luck, Nikki, Sheikh, and Navya both played the role of Ritesh. Alongside Mahhi Vij, Sheikh also appeared in the 2012 telefilm featured in the Star Plus program Teri Meri Love Stories.

Acting and Breakthroughs in Indonesia (2013–2015)

He signed the Mahabharat deal with Swastik Productions in 2013. He portrayed Arjuna, the third Pandava and a master archer in the series, which ended in August 2014. He was well-liked for his performance. He spent nearly eight months undergoing various training for the series, including fitness, horseback riding, and weapon training. Mahabharat enjoyed tremendous critical and financial success. 

According to reports, it received the highest GTVMs of any series in Indian television history. It was also well-liked in Indonesia, making Sheikh a great star and frequently referred to as the "S.R.K. of the Nation." Fans also adored him and Pooja Sharma, who played Draupadi, for their on-screen connection. After the Mahabharat, he worked on several projects in Indonesia, which increased his popularity there.

Along with his Mahabharat co-stars, he hosted the Indonesian reality television series Panah Asmara Arjuna and the variety program The New Eat Bulaga! Indonesia in 2014. He and Marc Nelson served as co-hosts of the television talent competition Asia's Got Talent in 2015. He also played the cool-headed Reehan Syahputra in the love drama Cinta di Langit Taj Mahal, which starred Nabila Syakieb and Ravi Bhatia. 2015 saw Sheikh land the leading part in Turi's romantic love story. He starred opposite Kirana Larasati as Azan Khan, a dashing Indian photographer who made friends with Nabil, a tough and attractive Yogyakarta tour guide.

Renowned and Experienced Actor (2016–2020)

Sheikh returned to Indian television in 2016 by appearing in the critically acclaimed Sony T.V. series Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi with Erica Fernandes and Supriya Pilgaonkar. He portrayed Devrath Dixit, a prosperous young businessman. The audience enjoyed Sheikh's performance and their on-screen chemistry. The second season of the program premiered in September 2017.

In addition to Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, he has played episodic roles and made guest appearances in other Indonesian television programs. Salman in Malaikat Kecil Dari India, Aladin/Ali Besar in Aladin & Alakadam, Prince Zamzaman Jinny Oh Jinny Datang Lagi, Mr. Thakur in Gara Gara Duyung, Rahul in Tuyul & Mba Yul Reborn, Raden Petir in Roro Jonggrang, and Raden Petir in Roro Jonggrang were among the characters he played He also made a cameo appearance in I-KTP. Additionally, he co-starred with Masayu Anastasia in the 2016 Indonesian telefilm Namaku Yusuf, in which he played the lead character Yusuf.

In February 2017, he started producing Maipa and Datu Museng, a forthcoming Indonesian feature film. Sheikh portrayed the warrior Datu Museng in this action-based love story. The movie premiered on January 11, 2018. He portrayed Salim in the 2018 Colors T.V. episode of Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali. Sonarika Bhadoria was his companion. He played Abir Rajvansh alongside Rhea Sharma in the Star Plus television series Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke from March 2019 to October 2020. The producer, Rajan Shahi, described him as having a dynamic job.

Continued Growth (2021-present)

Paurashpur, a web series starring Annu Kapoor, Shilpa Shinde, Milind Soman, and Flora Sini, served as his web series debut. In 2021's Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 3, he came back as Dev Dixit alongside Erica Fernandes. The tale continues from where it left off in the second season.

In July, he committed to the online television series Pavitra Rishta: It's Never Too Late as a tribute to the actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The latter portrayed the show's main character Manav in its first season. Shaheer took over in his place, with minor characterization and plot modifications. Sheikh and Shweta Basu Prasad co-starred in the 2022 short film Yatri Kripya Dhyan De. He has been playing Krishna Choudhary opposite Hiba Nawab in Star Bharat's Woh Toh Hai Albelaa since March 2022.

Marriage and Children

After nearly two years of dating, Sheikh wed Ruchikaa Kapoor on October 19, 2020, in a court ceremony. They then had celebrations in Jammu and Mumbai. Kapoor serves as senior vice president and director of marketing for Balaji Motion Pictures. They welcomed Anaya into the world on September 9, 2021.
