Sonu Nigam is a well-known playback singer and music director from India who began singing when he was very young. He is a playback singer who succeeded and tried out several styles, which he could execute effortlessly. Sonu Nigam has produced music in many languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Nepali, and many more, including devotional, romantic, patriotic, and ghazal songs. Even his mainstream songs and albums of devotion have been released in other languages.

Nigam's not only perform in India, but also in other country of Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East. Sonu and "The Incredibles" worked together in 2007. The members of The Incredible were Sonu Nigam, Kailash Kher, Kunal Ganjawala, and Asha Bhosle. Under the name Simply Sonu, he also planned solo performances in Germany and Canada. He accomplished this first among Indian singers.

Beginning of Career: 1990–1999

In 1990, a song from the film Janam gave Sonu Nigam his big start as a playback vocalist. The movie was never released because of some unforeseen circumstances. Even though he had a contract with T-Series, it was rejected due to S. P. Balasubramaniam. T-Series owner Gulshan Kumar offered him an opportunity for a song from the popular film Bewafa Sanam despite his contract being rejected due to his enthusiasm and talent.
