The advantages of email communication are numerous because it is quick and reliable. Email, however, has a number of drawbacks in addition to its advantages that makes it a challenging way to send information.

Advantages of Email

1. Fast Communication with Clients
   When you have to convey important information to a client or associate for business purposes who are thousands of miles away, Email is also one of the fastest techniques to execute it. Email's advantage over the phone in terms of communication speed, is it best way to convey documents that have important information in it. Emails are just a presentation to get your message clearer. Generally, phone calls take longer because you need to contact the right person and hear to them when they're prepared to speak. On the other hand, an email may be rapidly sent to the appropriate person.
   
2. Availability and Portability
   Due to the increased usage of email, business people now receive hundreds of emails every day. However, you can store emails into folders on your PC or recoverable handheld communication devices, such as a cell phone, as required. Email's convenience saves you from having to keep paper-filled file folders. Therefore, it removes the need to carry along large folder and making your important correspondence simply portable.
   
3. Reduces Shipping and Mailing Costs
   The emails cost nothing beyond the cost of your internet connection. One advantage of email communication is that there are no costs associated with sending any messages, files, videos, documents, or presentations. It significantly saves the time and cost that you spend on shipping and postage for your business correspondence.

   In the business world, email is one of the many forms of communication used. Email is still commonly used due of its efficiency and professionalism. Disadvantages of Email

1. Vulnerability to Loss
   Anyone can go through all of your published important documents and destroy them personally. But, a simple hard drive crash could result in the loss of all of your mails and essential data. If you keep your email information on a new server and that site is disabled or out of business, you can loss your information. Use a backup plan for important emails that you want to save, even for a short while, such as routinely copying them onto a flash drive.
   
2. Accessible to Others
   When an official letter is handed to you, the only person who gets that letter is you. Never assume the privacy of your emails sent over networks is untouched. It's possible that someone else will have access to them or accidentally get them. A hacker may be able to hack emails, or they may be sent to the wrong recipient and end up in their mailbox. So, take care when sending information by email. Email is not really the best way to communicate to employ if it's private information that you don't want anyone else to see. When you use emails, hackers and even unsuspecting users might easily access your personal information and messages.
   
3. Difficult to Interpret Emotions
   One disadvantage of email is that because it may come so fast, people generally view it more like a conversation. They begin to speak in slang and trying to have email conversations. However, since email users cannot see one other, there is no voice inflection or emotion in the emails to assist in proper interpretation. This can and frequently does lead to misunderstandings of the sentiments expressed in the email, which can generate hurt feelings, anger, resentment, and many other emotions.When mailing your emails, it's a good idea to read them again and watch for language that can be interpreted negatively.
