Who is a Java Developer?

A Java developer is a skilled programmer who works on commercial applications, software, and webpages.  Java developers can work in two different areas:

Operating system development: As a computer programmer or backend developer, the Android developer is responsible for requirements collecting, design, network connectivity, and so on.

Mobile App Development: A Java program that works in creating the mobile apps industry involves techniques such as Android development using Java language.

Java Developers Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Core Java Programming
  • Policy interventions of instrument programming principles, exception handling, and resource management are essential.
  • Multi-threading and dependence injection are must-know topics.
  • HTML, XML, JSON, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, and Tomcat knowledge are required.
  • Excellent understanding of conventional and non-relational databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and others.
  • Working knowledge of ORM architectures and capabilities such as JPA2 and Hibernate
  • Working knowledge of any Java IDE tool, including Eclipse or Intellij IDE
  • Knowledge of one of the technologies - Spring, Struts, or JSF
  • Understanding of development tools, including Maven, Gradle, and others.
  • Version management (Git repository)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and technologies such as Jenkins and GitHub pipelines.

Other Preferred Qualifications

  • Development experience with SaaS, PaaS, and cloud-based web apps
  • Understanding of design concepts as well as the foundations of the software development process.
  • Familiarity with Java applications and front-end/back-end integration Knowledge of quality requirements and best coding practices.

  • Knowledge of agile and DevOps approaches
  • Logical reasoning, strong analytical abilities, and a problem-solving mindset are required.
